A chemical element belonging to a group called ‘transition metals’.
Used as an additive to steel, increasing strength, resilience and reliability.

Our Story

In 2015, founders Mick Seah and Warren Salamone recognised the need for large businesses to better support their people through increasingly frequent, complex and disruptive change.

Their early experiences working across Australia, Asia and Europe, reinforced that applying structure and methodology to how teams and individuals are guided through change, while recognising and uplifting their felt experience, significantly improves organisational outcomes, adoption and is a leading driver of sustainable impact.

Here at Cobalt Group, we are a Perth based, born and bred business with deep expertise and experience delivering our services across the resources industry and other primary sectors. Each Cobalt team member is a proven expert in their field and has been hand-picked to ensure our clients receive the best possible outcomes.

Our mandate is clear, we are here to support leading businesses to unlock rapid value and navigate complex issues, through tailored organisational change management, business transformation and performance improvement solutions.

In the same way the chemical compound Cobalt strengthens steel, Cobalt Group reinforces the strength and resilience of the organisations we partner with, through the delivery of structured solutions and sustainable, value focused outcomes.

Warren Salamone

Mick and Warren have extensive experience delivering tailored solutions to tier one organisations across Australia and abroad. Mick began his career with Big 4 firm PwC and after having spent time delivering projects in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore, returned to Perth with wife Kylie, where they and their four kids reside.

Similarly, Warren spent the early years of his career abroad working in Sydney, Melbourne and London. He gained valuable experience with Big 4 firm EY and through internal roles with Toll Energy and CSC. Warren returned to Perth with wife Rebecca where they reside with their three kids. He’s also served as the Chairman of Classroom of Hope, a not-for-profit who’s purpose is to provide access to quality education to children in developing countries.

Both Mick and Warren are happy to call Perth home again, not least for the great lifestyle and their love for most ocean related activities (hence their attraction to the deep blue colour of Cobalt, reminiscent of the ocean). When they are not busy running the business or spending time with their families, you will likely find them enjoying Perth’s beautiful coastline and surrounds.
